Hi all,
All the treatment that the doctors have generously given me since 2022 so far have failed, they tried so hard, giving me R Chop chemotherapy, then a Stem cell Transplant, then Radiotherapy, then Glofitamab immunotherapy. All pushed it back but only for a few months. My cancer is extremely aggressive and very sneaky it hides.
The doctors and nurses are just as disappointed as I am at the outcome. Today my doctor suggested Car T. So I am about to start the whole process in the next few weeks. If you have gone through Car T please let me know, I would like to know your full experience and all the details.
Thank you.
Virginia
Hi again Virginia Virginia.H even if CAR-T was available back in 2014/2015 it would not be a tool for me so I had to have Stem Cell Transplants.
There have been a few folks come through this group who have had CAR-T….. so let’s look for them to pick up on your post.
I have highlighted before that you may want to check out Lymphoma Action and their various Support Platforms as there have been a good number of members in their closed FB group who have navigated the CAR-T rollercoaster (I also volunteer for Lymphoma Action so know this well)
They also have a great Lymphoma Action Buddy Service where they may be able to link you up with someone who has walked the CAR-T journey.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
