my wife's pola R-CHP treatment has begun

so, at the end of her final 'dip' week, my wife is suffering from brittle nails and a loss of taste.. as well as the usual fatigue and a couple of days of bone ache.. just waiting for her PET-CT in early Jan, and hopefully the results in the following meeting. fingers crossed.

Good to hear that she is through her treatment..... now to navigate the post treatment world and this can be ever so different for everyone.

Hi Beau, I’m a 57 yr old woman, I finished pola r chp this time last year was my 6th round, I was the same as your wife tired, and weak bone pain I also lost 2stone in weight, I was very weak and I think I would be a lot better sooner only I then went on to have 20 sessions of radiotherapy which made me even more tired but a lot better that chemo, I hope your wife has a total response on her scan in jan she sounds like she is doing really well as I found cycle 5 and 6 the hardest.

ooh, off to the docs today.. toenail now oozing pus.. so going to see what they have to say.. 

Stuff is going to come along..... but getting it dealt with ASAP is very important.

indeed, a course of antibiotics and watch for any signs of infection.. 

Hope you don’t mind me asking. Are you in remission? I am doing pola-r-chp and just wondering how you found the treatment, etc x

Monday was PET-CT scan day... today was Complete Metabolic Response day..  Result!
