Day 1 .. went well, with no hiccups.. given a shed load of drugs, so trying to make some sort of plan to get it all in order.

round 2 tomorrow..

  • so, at the end of her final 'dip' week, my wife is suffering from brittle nails and a loss of taste.. as well as the usual fatigue and a couple of days of bone ache.. just waiting for her PET-CT in early Jan, and hopefully the results in the following meeting. fingers crossed.

  • Hi Beau, I’m a 57 yr old woman, I finished pola r chp this time last year was my 6th round, I was the same as your wife tired, and weak bone pain I also lost 2stone in weight, I was very weak and I think I would be a lot better sooner only I then went on to have 20 sessions of radiotherapy which made me even more tired but a lot better that chemo, I hope your wife has a total response on her scan in jan she sounds like she is doing really well as I found cycle 5 and 6 the hardest.

  • thank you.. TBH, she has managed this really well.. yes, hoping for the best with her scan..
