Hello. I thought i would join the group as i was diagnosed with Cml 13 years ago. thought i could share my experiences or support others.  my story is that 10 years ago had a stem cell transplant. prior to that had been taking imatinib disatinib . ponatanib but lost  response to each due to mutation.  anyway hello to the community.

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Blood Cancer groups.

I don’t have CML but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a so although my Blood Cancer ‘type’ is different I do appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well especially as I have had 2 Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants.

I am sure that group members will appreciate the support from someone who had been there and got the T shirt.

You may also be interested in our dedicated Stem cell transplant group as well.

You may also want to look at putting ‘your story’ into your profile - follow the link at the bottom of my post as to how this is done. As always you can hit members community names and see their stories if they have put them up on the site.
