Hello everyone, I'm new to this group and I'm hoping I could borrow a few minutes of everyone's time.

My fiancee has know about her having cancerous cells for a little over 10+ years ago and has known for a little over 2+ years that the doctors were wanting to cut them out of her.

She refused to let them operate and cut them out. The cancer has since then spread to her lymph nodes.

She's scared to reach out in order to try and find a support group, so she's asked me to reach out in order to help her find a support group.

If anyone knows of any support groups that she could talk to over Zoom, please contact me with the zoom link so I can send her.

It would be much appreciated! BlushPrayHeart

  • Hi DarkGodPharoah welcome to the forum..The best thing I can suggest at this time is to give the Macmillan Line a call and have a chat with them. They will be able to direct you to local support groups that your fiancee can reach out to. It is completely confidential and free to call 08088080000. Hope you manage to get some information but please reassure your fiancee she is welcome in any of the forums on here and there is never any judgement. Best wishes Gail

  • Thank you so much for the information! I'll be sure to pass it off to her!

  • Hi

I presume that your girlfriend is also posting in the forum? We cannot provide zoom links here, and this is a UK based charity so if you are not based in the UK the support line number for MacMillan will be different and will be charged.

Obviously this group here is for peer to peer support for those who have cervical cancer or are dealing with abnormal cervical cells, but it will be difficult for us to help if your girlfriend has refused to have any treatment for a cervical cancer which has spread. Can you let us have any further information so we can try to help?

    Sarah xx
