Newly diagnosed

I am hoping to have all my results by next week sometimes xx

Do you know if they call you to let you know test results ? Or will i have to go to the hospital ? 

I'm so nervous x

Hospitals can all be different in how they give you results. My consultants have never given me any results over the phone so I’ve always had to go in person. But yours may not be the same. I preferred to see the doctor face to face so I was happy to go in. It’s natural to be nervous waiting for results, but it’s not long for you to wait now.

Hey Sarah x  I'll find out from the hospital today, Mt CT scan is at 4pm :) just want it tp be over now. I'm getting stomach ache and headache from thinking too .uch about everything.

CT scan went well! Hopefully all results will be available to me soon xx

I’m glad it’s all done now. It might just be that your anxiety is giving you those symptoms. I think we all felt better once we had our results and knew what the plan for treatment was.

Definitely my anxiety, im lewrning to control my thoughts though and try and focus on things that make ke happy and positive thoughts only ad this is not a death setence.  hopefully won't have to wait that long, for my appointment now, 2 more weeks i assume but let's see.

Quick question, is surgery usually always required for stage 2 cervical cancers ? Or it depends ?

Surgery is usually only possible up to stage 2a. At stage 2b, surgery isn’t possible so the treatment is chemo and radiation. I hope you’re not worrying that you have stage 2 cancer?
