So the frustration of having to advocate for myself continues.. my consultant said in an appointment during treatment HRT will be discussed at a year follow up.. guess what.. at my year follow up she told me to discuss it with my GP but if they are cautious about prescribing they’ll contact her to discuss!
So I have a telephone appointment booked with the HRT nurse at my gp on Wednesday and in fear of being fobbed off again by someone else.. I thought where best to ask, so here I am..
I have no menopause symptoms.. my ovaries are shut down but I still have my uterus..
Anyone in a similar situation?
pros and cons of what you’re prescribed?
I appreciate we’re all individuals with varying circumstances, thank you for any advice.
Hi Chloe1306
I hope you’re continuing to do well, apart from the frustrations around hrt.
Unfortunately I have no personal experience to share, but bumping your post to the top of discussions again will hopefully get you some more replies from other members who have some experience they can share with you.
Hopefully the chat with the gp surgery nurse will be helpful too.
Sarah xx
