How long is acceptable to wait on a colscopony? I've just rang appointments and I'm referred to a different trust and waiting list 9 months. How am I not to worry in that length of time when I'm experiencing symptoms and have HPV and abnormal cells.

That seems an unreasonable length of time to wait for your colposcopy but I don’t know what the current waiting lists are like.
Hpv and abnormal cells are not usually thought to produce symptoms, so if you are having symptoms, especially if they are getting worse, then I’d recommend going back to your doctor to see if they can help with a quicker appointment. You could also ask to be put on a cancellation list if it’s possible for you to go at short notice.
