I’m going to start chemo radiation for cervical cancer next week. Could anyone suggest what body cream is best suited please. I’ve been using up some of my normal cream but I think it’s too perfumedHas anyone used aveeno? Thanks in advanced .

Hi Caj

You would be best to ask your team at the hospital for suggestions. Not everyone uses or requires creams, and some are not suitable. It’s best to take advice from the team treating you.

I used Aveeno, as advised by my radiotherapy team. All the best for next week.

I was diagnosed with stage 2A squamous cell cervical cancer (node negative) in 2017 following symptoms: persistent, watery, yellow vaginal discharge then post-menopuasal bleeding. My treatment was a radical hysterectomy followed by chemo-radiotherapy. My long term side effects include lymphoedema and urinary retention which I manage with intermittent self catheterisation.
