Hi everyone
Question for you girls who have had a full hysterectomy and have to have smears every 6 months.
I had my second one since the operation (aug 2021) yesterday. It killed me when they did it and I had a little bleed plus my legs and back killed me where I tensed up but today my tummy is hurting.
Does anybody know if this is normal?
The pain feels like it did before I had cancer and had endometriosis but also had cancer which I didn't know.

Sorry I can’t offer any advice for your query, but replying will bring it to the top of the discussions where hopefully someone who has been through this can reply. I think so many of us went straight to chemoradiation and weren’t able to have the surgery that it can sometimes be difficult to find someone with the same experience.

It can be really hard. I’ve yet to find anyone who can identify with me, so I completely get it. But I know we have ladies who’ve had a hysterectomy so I really hope someone can pop up with the same experience as you,
