Morning ladies

The group has seemed quiet recently so just wanted to check in and see how you’re all getting along with treatments and recoveries.

It’s a beautiful sunny day here, so I hope you are all able to enjoy some sun where you are too. Sunglasses

  • Hi Sarah, it's quite warm here but overcast I had a lively walk round Antrim castle grounds with daughter in law and some of the grandkids. It was beautiful, we collected 30 million bugs in a container (coz that's wot the grandson loves lol) I'm home and relaxing. Had an appointment with consultant yesterday for a physical exam. She prescribed some eastrogen gel for me to use to help with healing inside as I'm past the menopause so obv my body not producing a lot. Bit tired today but think it was all nervous energy I used yesterday lol. Hope you're well.

  • Oh, that sounds like a lovely day out, Angela, with the exception of the bugs! Joy You’re so lucky to have grandchildren….I can’t wait for that!

Hope the gel will be helpful and make things a bit easier for you. I’ve been out today as far as the hairdresser and that’s it. Tomorrow I’ll be tidying up for the cleaners coming…it’s keeping me on my toes having cleaners, I must say! Joy

Got a lot to do this weekend, so hoping I can’t find the energy for that!

  • Oh my word-8-that’s wonderful! Here I am approaching 60 with none! My two daughters are both living with very long term partners but no sign of babies any time soon, despite my hints. I’d love to have even one.

Thank you so much for your kind words-I’ll be blushing here Joy

  • Oh Sarah I was 38 wen I was made a grandparent for the 1st time, with another born 2 months later! But I'm a great believer in fate and things that happen for a reason, so my late husband got to meet and bond with the oldest 2 before he passed which I'm so grateful for. The 2 oldest will be 17 this year(now I feel old) lol. Your time will come and you will love your whole life even more than you already do. Il keep everything crossed you get to experience this soon coz it's wonderful.

  • Gosh, you were young to find out you were going to be a grandmother, Angela, but I too believe things happen for a reason, and that babies are a blessing. It’s wonderful that your husband was able to meet your first two-that’s something very special.

I’m hoping and praying I’ll still be here to experience that joy when the time comes! I went out to a shop for the first time this year yesterday, and it made me so tired I needed a nap in the afternoon. Got to go out again this morning, so I’m hopping I have enough energy for that! Joy
