Thank you. Well I'm going for a colonoscopy next Thursday as I they have found abnormal cells. Pooing myself. So hoping that women on here have gone through the same thing and if it come back all clear or with cancer and what stages. I have a few of the symptoms that are on the NHS website. There no one really i can talk to about it as everyone I seem to change the conversation or brush it under the carpet so I really hope it's OK to be on here.
Thank you
Morning danielle
I have replied to you on the original post you made-if you click on your own name and then click on “activity”, you will be able to see all of your posts and any replies, if you’re having difficulty finding things.
As I said to you in my reply, I presume you mean that you are having a colposcopy, and not a colonoscopy, which is a bowel examination.
Just because you can match some of what you’re experiencing to symptoms on the nhs website, this does not mean you have cancer. It’s a possibility of course but not a certainty. I could probably look up symptoms for any number of cancers and match them to things I experience, but it doesn’t mean I have that cancer. Symptoms can be for many other much less serious conditions. Hopefully your appointment will confirm that you have abnormal cells, which are not cancer.

You are having a colposcopy? I had mine on this last Tues due to HPV and now abnormal cells.
Most cells disappear on their own, your body can get rid of it, mine has not gone away and i am at CIN2 and am awaiting treatment and biopsy results.
Please don't keep reading and imagining the worst, a lot of us are HPV positive and it is monitored and watched.
It does not mean you will have cancer or will develop cancer it is pre cancer and is graded 1,2 and 3.
Hi @Daisy65 and welcome to the group
You have replied to me, which is fine, but I’m not having the colposcopy. We don’t seem to have heard back from danielle but hopefully she has got on ok with this.
Hopefully for yourself the biopsy will confirm the CIN2 and you can have treatment to remove the abnormal cells and all will be well. Let us know how you get on.
