Hello ladies, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. I hope everyone is as well as can be. Following my colposcopy & “CIN1 at most” without cervical biopsy I asked my GP for a 2nd opinion, I was referred to Gynae at a very good hospital with an in depth appointment including scans & biopsies today, however on Tuesday received a letter to advise due to a change in clinic my appointment had been cancelled!! Anyway I had an appointment with my GP yesterday who was writing to the hospital to see if she could expedite the new appointment, as well as arrange an urgent ultrasound. I received a call today, the hospital had a cancellation so I had a pelvic & transvaginal u/s this afternoon. After the u/s which was quite lengthy, I asked if everything looked ok, the sonographer said “ I can’t tell you it’s up to your gp”. From previous experience I’ve always been told there & then everything looks ok but will go to GP. Not had any bleeding between periods for approx 5 weeks, however every day I’ve had achy pelvic and back pain which is getting worse, often like a stinging twisting sensation. Good news is I’m booked for endometrial ablation & bilateral salpingectomy on Wednesday. Just wondering if anyone has had this experience after an u/s ?
Hello again!
Sorry, I can’t help as I’ve never had an ultrasound, but maybe some of the other ladies have. Really hoping that the surgery will sort things out for you and resolve your issues after all you’ve been going through.

Thank you. Results are back from ultrasound- atypical appearance of the endometrium at the fundus. Endometrial thickness 16.6mm The report has been sent straight to Gynae. Last scan aug 2021 was normal endometrial thickness 7mm. I’m hoping this doesn’t set me back for ablation

I see you’ve posted in the womb group, which is what I was going to suggest next. Lots of lovely ladies on there, and hopefully they’ll be able to help. Hope things work out well for you.
