End of the week and I'm full on exhausted.. also (as Julie described) the "radio runnies" I'm emotionally drained of all energy. Hopefully the weekend break helps. Just needed to out that out there to try deal with it.. thanks xx
Thanks Jen.. just feel so ill and tired and drained..feel like I'm losing hope but hopefully it's just a blip..thanks again..I just needed to say it out loud . wouldn't dream of telling my family how I feel ATM. But it's so good to let it out on here xx
Totally normal. I had many days like that. I used to sit in the car park thinking I could happily just drive away. However we soldier on, and this is a great place to vent so you crack on!
One day at a time. ️
Hi Angela, I was so desperately tired at the end of the first week but honestly, for me the end of the second week was much more manageable. At the end of week 4 even though I have had eating/running problems, I feel so much better than any of the previous weeks. I hope it is the same for you and the weekend break will help I'm sure. Catch up on rest and relaxation and get your strength back for the next round. You can so totally do this! Take care and look after yourself xxx
Morning Angela
Take the weekend to completely relax and rest up if you can. The whole process is mentally and physically exhausting. But you’ll pick yourself up and keep going next week and get through, I know you have the attitude to do that!
You're doing really well, and little blips are to be expected so don’t beat yourself up about them. Remember how well you’re doing! xx
Thankyou guys. Had a lie in this morning (9am) the exhaustion and weariness hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday, and we need strength to have positivity. I will try to rest all weekend for the week ahead. Thanks again ladies xx
Angela
Hi Sarah and Julie
So it's Sunday morning and feeling a bit better. I managed a slice of toast, but cried so much yesterday that I've gave myself the sniffles/sneezes today! Done a lateral flow just incase but negative (phew)! Temp is 37.7 but I'm Gona tidy house up a bit and shower then take temp again. Julie I'm taking strength from the fact that the end of your 1st week was the worst, I'm keeping everything crossed that I'm the same, that's was rough and had to send out for imodium and extra toilet paper lol. You girls are life savers once again. Thanks so much .xx
Angela
Hi Angela
it’s a tough time, no doubt about it, but in some ways I think we’re lucky with our treatment for this in that although it’s intense, it is over with in a matter of weeks. I was ok until week 3, so I’m sorry it’s hit you earlier. One thing that helped me was using moist loo wipes rather than toilet roll as it soothes a bit more and isn’t so harsh on your poor bum!
Try not to do too much today if you can help it...get some energy back for the new week. Hope you can have some smiles in your day today. Sending big hugs. xx
Thanks Sarah. My bungalow is not much bigger than a matchbox lol so it doesn't take much effort to tidy it. Then il rest all day in bed with Netflix lol xx
