Hi and welcome to the Online Community. I have a different type of cancer to you (womb) I'm not medically trained but I think if they'd found anything after your Colposcopy and punch biopsy you'd be referred for more testing.
It might be an idea to give your GP a call for clarification. In the meantime the other members here hopefully will be along to chat soon.
I've attached some reading matter on Cervical cancer you might find helpful.
It’s always helpful to others if you write a little something (or a lot) about yourself and your journey to date. You can enter it into your profile (click on your username and select “Profile”) It’s helpful to other members with a similar diagnosis who can then hopefully answer your questions. It also means that you don't have to keep writing the same thing over and over. You can amend or update it at any time.
Macmillan Support Services also offer lots of information, support, financial guidance or just someone to listen. It’s free to call 0808 808 0000. Thankyou for your reply ive been referred for a another scan on my ovaries as i mentioned i feel like i have a cyst also i only had the colposcopy a week and punch biopsy so im waiting for the results, However i got a copy of my gps letter from the colposcopy clinician saying that i was referred for the colposcopy originally because of abnormal smear results with nuclear changes to squamous cells and have been wondering since if this means i have cancer. Years ago 6 years sgo i had thyroid cancer but had my thyroid plus cancer removed and went through early menopause and have taken HRT since .
