Hi, I’m new to the group. I only got my diagnosis yesterday. I have cervical cancer, they don’t know what stage it is and I’m waiting for a scan. It’s been the worse year of my life so far. I lost my mum to Coronavirus and now this.
I’m hoping this group will help me get through this tough time, as I want to stay strong for my family.
Hi Hartley26,
I'm so sorry to hear you have lost your mum.
I seem to be in the same boat as you. I was diagnosed today with cervical cancer and now awaiting a scan date hopefully in the next week or two. I to have a family and want to stay strong for them but to be honest I’m one of these who always thinks the worse abs worry myself sick before I have answers.
I hope you get a date soon and everything is as good as it can be x

Hi Hartley26 I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum and also your diagnosis. How terrible for you. I lost my Mum in 2018 so I know how tough it is. The MacMillan helpline is really useful and so are the helpline and forum of Jo"s Cervical Cancer Trust. I really hope that you and Blonde78 can find lots of support from those with the same experiences.
Hugs

Oh and the emotional issues section of this forum is also very good
