  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with cervical cancer last year and had to have a major operation to remove it.

It's great news that you were told that they had managed to remove it all but not such great news to hear that you have developed some new symptoms.

It's probably a good idea to contact your CNS and tell her about these new symptoms so that she can give you advice. I'm not saying this to worry you but just because any new or worsening symptoms should be reported so that they can be treated if necessary.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Do come back and let us know how you get on.
