Hi All,
Firstly i apologise for posting here. I am very anxious and dont know where else i could post..
I know some of you kind ladies helped me in 2018 with my breast problem and directing with next steps and questions to ask my doctor. I am thankful for that.
Since then, i have had an endometrial ablation ( novasure) in september 2019 and over christmas i started to get pink discharge or bloody streaks
My periods have become light to nothing which is nice after struggling years with heavy long periods.
my last peeiod was 14/12/19 & lasted for 3 days but on 22nd onwards i have been experiencing the following
- pink / red bloody streaks in discharge
- heaviness in abdomen
- lower back pain
- cramps
- feet swelling
- left breast sore and swollen
Been to doctor on saturday but not my regular one but she did a swab test and sent it to labs but since the weekend my symptoms have gone worse with more heaviness and bloatiness and lower back pain accompanied with cramps and my leg is hurting terribly. I have requested for my gp to see me and got an appointment later in the week ..
Im sorry this might not even be appropriate in comparison to other postings but i have no one to share my anxiety of this and being mum to 4 and youngest being 3 its making very nervous.. i have had 6 surgeries ( hysteroscopy x 2, laproscopy x2, novasure sure * 1 c-section)
i look forward to your replies, thank you.
Hi
There is this Macmillan info page covering Cervical Symptoms you could have a look through.
Sorry I have no experience of this or any of the other surgeries you have had as my wife had breast cancer but I couldn't just read and run.
Is there any way you could get to see your GP sooner as an emergency sit and wait appointment ?
Hopefully this will at least 'bump' your question and get you further supporting info.
Fingers crossed for this being just a pelvic infection of some sort, G n' J
Hello! The best place to find support us Jo's cervical cancer trust; they have a helpline, information pages & an ask the expert service as well as a forum. I found talking to a Macmillan nurse on their helpline also helped for reassurance over medical facts but the nurse I spoke to also recommended Jo's. However I also feel it would be best for you to see a nurse or Dr in person - I really hope this helps!!!
