Hi
is there anyone here in a similar situation to me. I had my smear test on Thursday evening I was referred straight away as the nurse said she could see a yellowish blister at the top of my cervical. I have been having bleeding and spotting. The nurse then told me I had been prescribed the wrong HRT. I was given a years supply she said this would be investigated at their end. As this could have contributed to the bleeding. On leaving the appointment she said I had taken the news well I was just in shock.
thank you for reading

Hi Claire and welcome to the online community
I haven't had a similar experience to you but I noticed that no one had responded to you yet and wanted to take the opportunity of welcoming you.
I assume that you've joined this community because you're worried that this blister could mean that you have cancer. If you could tell the other members of the group a little bit more they might be able to help further. For example you say you have been referred straight away but where have you been referred to, ie hospital, a GP, etc? Do you have the date of your appointment yet and, if so, what tests are you being referred for? Did the nurse suggest that you might have cervical cancer or does she just think that the HRT tablets have caused the blister?
Do come back and let us know how you get on

Hi thank you for the reply yes I have my appointment on Friday morning at the hospital. The nurse did say she thought it could be a polyp but seemed to be concerned I had been given the wrong HRT patches. I have found a chat where one lady sued the doctors for the same thing. But that obviously is the furthest thing on my mind at the moment x
Hi Claire
That's good that you don't have long to wait to be seen at the hospital and also that the nurse thinks it could be a polyp.
Be sure to come back and let the group know how you get on as I'm sure the ladies here will be willing to support you while you're waiting for the results.
All the best
