Hi ladies
feel a bit silly writing but have a million and one questions going through my head with no answers and didn’t know where to turn, hope you don’t mind.
i had a cone biopsy yesterday and after it was finished the dr told me nothing just said the would send it to the lab and I’ll get my results in the post.
i am just wondering if anyone else has had this procedure, how long it took to get the results and what was the outcome please
thank you

Hi Stevie and a very warm welcome to the online community
I haven't had the procedure you mention so can't help with your questions but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. This could just be because the person with the experience you need hasn't seen your post yet.
I typed 'cone' into the search bar in this group and found a few older posts from people mentioning this type of biopsy. While you're waiting for replies you could do the same and have a read of them, replying to any where you want to ask the poster any questions.
I notice from your activity that you have also posted in the ask a nurse section of the site and wondered if you knew that you'd had a reply from Fiona, one of the Macmillan Information Nurses. If you haven't seen it clicking here will take you directly to it.
I hope you don't have too much longer to wait for your results.
