Hi this my first post, I had an colposcopy and an diathermy loop excision then called to see consultant told can’t grade my cervical cancer worried sick now, has this happened to anyone else?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I didn't have the same type of cancer as you so I don't have experiences with the type of tests you have had. However, I do understand how scary it is when you are first diagnosed and it's okay to feel as worried as you do. Hopefully, you'll find that when you have a treatment plan you'll feel a lot calmer as you'll know what is happening.
I noticed that the subject of your post was MRI so I was wondering if you are having an MRI scan next.
Keep posting and, even if we can't answer your questions, we can give you support and a place to rant and rave.

Hi I was told I had probable cancer on the 28th through a colposcopy examination in which a biopsy confirmed this. I asked my keyworker if this can be staged through biopsy and she said I’ve to have more test to see if it’s spread then they can stage it from there. I’ve an mri and chest X-ray today if that helps. If you have any questions or concerns call toe keyworker mine was so helpful and as kept me updated via phone as I said I would prefer this way if contact as opposed to waiting around for clinic appointments. Wishing you all the luck x
