Hello- has anyone else been left with a permanent suprapubic catheter and zero bowel motility following a radical hysterectomy? I’m 10 months post op and there’s no sign of improvement. I’m suffering from daily pain and extreme exhaustion and I’m getting rather frustrated. Please let me know that someone else has experienced the same difficulties and have now fully recovered?
With love
Hi Fluffie,
Im sorry that you haven't had any replies to date, I've not had your experience but you could call the Macmillan helpline on 0808 808 0000 and ask to speak to a nurse who could maybe help. You could also try the gynaecologist nurse specialist at the eve appeal
https://eveappeal.org.uk/supporting-you/ask-eve/
You could also try Jos trust, they are at https://www.jostrust.org.uk
I hope that you can get some comfort soon.
lots of love
