Anyone experienced reoccurrence

I had a radical hysterectomy in November last year and pelvic lymph node removal after being diagnosed with 1B . All of my check ups have been fine. Recently though I have had blood stained discharge aswell as constant back pain. My GP is pretty useless and tested me for a water infection then nothing which came back clear. Obviously as anyone who has cancer you are constantly worried about reoccurrence but I am at a bit of a loss, has anyone had any reoccurrence after 1B and if so what type of symptoms if any did you have ?

Hi jr,

have you spoken to your team about your symptoms? I had womb cancer but any time I've had post op symptoms I give my clinical nurse specialist a ring and she arranges an appointment at their clinic or asks me to see my gp.

I have and now they are sending me for a CT scan. Just waiting on a date :( xx

Hi jr,

I know how it feels, I had an MRI scan in July to check on some symptoms (I waited a long time for the appointment) and waited until mid August for results, keeping busy and distracted really helped pass the time, other than that I tried to push it to the back of my mind, but I know that is easier said than done, it was easier when I had a scan date to work towards.

Did they give you a timescale for your appointment date?
