I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer the end of May. I had a full hysterectomy to remove the cancer. I was lucky it was caught early. Three months on and my stomach ls swollen and uncomfortable. The consultant said it will go down in time...Has anyone else experienced this and any helpful suggestions on how I can improve it.
Sending out lots of love to all that are waiting diagnosis, have had diagnosis, are in treatment or recovering with cancer.

Aww three months is such a long time. I hope you get to feel relief very soon - you must be so uncomfortable. I've not had the procedure myself but I am sure some other lovely ladies will be on shortly and give you their advice.
Thinking of you and all of us - take care x
Hey Becky,
come and join us in the womb group https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_types/womb-cancer/
we all seem to get some post op bloat, my belly is quite substantial on it's own so I didn't try to help it, it went down on its own eventually. Some of the others in the womb group had some special underwear that they used, if you post in the group they will hopefully be able to give you more information about them.
Walking can help move any trapped wind out, I only wore soft leggings with the band above my belly and they were supportive enough to be comfortable.
I hope that it gets better soon for you
lots of love

Hi Arla,
For taking the time to reply. I was feeling a little fed up with the bloat. I've taken your advice and invested in some post surgery high waisted compression pants!. Umm sounds a delight, but if it works I'd be so grateful.
Lots of love and Thankyou!xxx
Thanks for thinking of me and taking the time to reply. Really appreciate it, I hope all goes well for you.
Lots of love to u and all who have had the uninvited guest cancer enter their livesxxx
Fingers crossed it works for you, I know how much you want to get back to normal after the op.
