Hi
I have just finished 6 double chemos in beginning of jan
I’ve now started daily radiotherapy with cystsplan, unfortunately my neutrophils were really low so couldn’t have chemo . I’ve had 3 days of injections to bring my levels up and have also had blood transfusion weekend . I’m hoping this works so I can start chemo this week . Has anyone been through this ? And how long did it takes for neutrophils to recover .

Hi Granny55 Val
I did reply to your post on this 3 days ago but no-one else has added anything so far. You can always add replies yourself to existing posts to update them and bump the post to the top of the discussions.
I hope you can get going with your chemo this week and that things have improved.

Hi there Granny55
Exactly the same happened to me a couple of years ago when in the same position. I did the injections for 3 days and blood transfusion, and went back for a blood test 3 days later and it was ok to go ahead with chemo. Doesn't take long for it to come back up. They fitted me in for treatment the next day!L
