It's been a while since I've posted but I wanted to share for all you amazing ladies who may be struggling with diagnosis, for those of you thinking the worse or just scared shitless or not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I want you to know that there are positive stories. I was devastated when I found out in January that I had cervical cancer. I was 35 years old and petrified, mourning over the children I wanted but couldn't have. Its been the most difficult battle I have ever experienced. After 25 rounds or radiotherapy 5 rounds of chemo and brachytherapy today I had the news that I have had a 100% positive response to the treatment and now there is no trace of cancer. I've beat it!!! I've beat cancer. I'm so overwhelmed and my emotions are all over the place. I wish you all the best of luck. Thank you so much to all the incredible woman who have supported me through this you will be forever in my heart.
Hi LJ86
Good to hear from you again, and great to read you’ve had such a positive response to the treatment and got a NED result. It can all be a bit overwhelming at first but such a relief for you after how you struggled at the start. Very good news!
