Hi all, I’m Jo, was given a secondary diagnosis last week. I have bone mets and was wondering what mattress people are finding best with bone pain. I was going to order a simba or nectar but thought I’d check if anyone has any recommendations. Thanku in advance.

  • Hi

I'm sorry to read that you've just had a secondary diagnosis and I'm sure you'll find this group very supportive.

I can't help with a mattress recommendation but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you change the title of your post to something like 'mattress recommendations' as that might catch the eye of someone who has some experience with the best type of mattress to ease bone pain.

  • Hi Sunflower747,

My wife has mets in her spine, and has tried all the beds in the house. Our Emma mattress is proving to be the best. (That type, rather than that brand. There are lots of makes that are the same)

Do you have a treatment plan? My wife had radiotherapy to the spine mets, and it's helped a great deal with the pain.

    Cheers,

    Andy

Hi jo, before my diagnosis I had trouble getting comfy as no support for my hips. I  bought a Millie mattress which I am finding good. I can no longer sleep on my side all night due to rib pain but I find this mattress really comfy for sleeping on my back.
