Hello, I was diagnosed last month with secondary bone cancer. Amazing response from NHS and support from my Macmillan nurse resulted in treatment starting less than two weeks after that diagnosis. I decided to keep a diary of how I was feeling each day after the start of chemo, emotionally and physically and that has been so encouraging. Any side effect I have had has been dealt with quickly and successfully so that i sleep well, pain free and, although tired, quality of life is fine. It is wonderful how the brain adjusts after the initial shock and the new normal becomes acceptable .
Hi Margaritt and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm glad to read how well everything has gone for you and I hope it continues. Although I'm not a member of this group I saw your post and just wanted to say hello.
It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
