I have been on letrozole for 9 months but along with all the other stuff I am now having to contend with itchy scalp which is driving me insane!
Has anyone experienced this...Will it go away. Any suggestions to help?
That sounds most unpleasant, especially in this hot weather. I haven’t experienced letrozole as my cancer isn’t oestrogen sensitive, but I have had various skin rashes from treatments in the past. Some things to try - making sure you are using fragrance and paraben free hair products; avoiding heat styling tools; changing pillow cases and possibly pillows; seeing if an antihistamine (eg cetrizine) makes any difference. As ever with any new symptom it’s worth considering talking to your breast care nurse.

I am a Macmillan volunteer.
I have metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer, in remission
Thankyou...I am using paraban free etc. But think I will try anti histamin and if course I will speak to the nurses on my next visit....or before if it still drives me mad!!!!
