Is there anyone who will insure me, any idea of cost? I was diagnosed with Breast cancer 2016 and 2018. I have recently had a few scans and have a secondary in my L2 Spinous Process and meeting with the SABR team tomorrow. I have an overseas trip booked beginning of December and was told by my Oncologist that that my treatment can be fitted around this and no need to cancel.
Any advice on travel insurance will be very much appreciated as I have no idea how to go about this.
Thanks
Hi ElizabethK5
You might want to look on our Travel insurance forum for cancer patients for recommendations. I have metastatic breast cancer and was able to get affordable travel insurance through Insurancewith. Their founder created the company when she had breast cancer and struggled to get insurance. You have to go through a very detailed questionnaire. The cancellation cover isn’t great but I am more concerned about ensuring I have medical cover if something goes wrong. The one issue you may have is if you are waiting for the results of tests.
