Hello. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 15th August, after various scans I was told on 3rd October it was metastasis and gone into my bones. So I was to go under the care of the Christie. I’ve got my first appointment through for this coming Tuesday and it’s a telephone appointment. I’m finding this strange, surely they’d want to see me face to face first time. Has anyone had this?
Hi Salpea77
Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer. I suggest that you give your breast care nurse a ring to ask why your first appointment is a telephone one rather than face to face particularly as it's a first appointment.
Wishing you the best of luck with it.
Best wishes
