Hello not sure how to use this site. I am at kindergarten level. Not even sure that I know what my cancer is called. Was told it was secondary breast cancer that went to my spine. Started with lower back pain in February 2023 After going to many doctors telling me to go to pain management I found a PA that headed me in the right direction with an MRI where my cancer was found. Told my oncologist I would wait for treatment since he said it was slow growing. Going to go back and ask more questions because the pain is extremely bad, along with nausea and anxiety. Taking Tylenol about every 3/4 hours and an opioid before bed Doctor was open to my questions I just did not know what to ask. I will be 80 in a couple months. Blessed that I made it thru breast cancer twice. Thanks Carolyn
Hi CarolynL
I don't know if you've already had your appointment but, in case you haven't, you might find this link to Macmillan's questions to ask your healthcare team useful.

I think it would be best to get a treatment plan for you Carolyn..lots of things they can do to help such as radiation treatments and different drugs to help with the pains and keep the cancer under control
