Hi not sure what I'm after other than some reassurance. I was diagnosed with bone mets last May after being diagnosed with primary in 2020. Past 2 scans show only contained 2 bones and treatment seems to be working and bones healing. However I have just gone to see my oncologist after my latest scan(3rd) and been told there is a very slight shadow on my liver which needs investigating. My heads in bits, as you can imagine I'm just focusing on this. My partner has come away with a completely different perspective to what I heard in the meeting and he said its 90% positive with only 10% of the unknown(not negative). My oncologist said there is a chance it could be something else, but also said it might not be. I'm driving myself mad worrying and just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience which turned out to be nothing? Xx
Hi Vicster2011
I'm sorry that you again have the worry of investigations.
I'm not a member of this group but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list and hopefully someone will pop on who can share their experience with you.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
Hi latchbrook thank you. I have also posted in a couple of other sites which have helped ease my mind a little. But thank you for taking g the time to reply xx
