Hi,
I am hoping I am worrying about nothing but I was diagnosed with ER/PR/HER2+ breast cancer (grade2) four years ago and had chemo (FECT), radiotherapy and herceptin. All good and aside from feeling knackered a fair amount (now on thyroxine) all ok. Then about 6 months ago I had a lymph node swell just above left clavicular. I have been batted between ENT and the breast cancer clinic with a couple of ultrasounds (all ok). On my last visit to the breast cancer clinic they decided to do a CT scan (neck to pelvis) with contrast. Neck ok, breasts ok but they have found an "indeterminate" lesion on my liver (approx 1cm left lobe). They are now referring me for an ultrasound of liver. I know I shouldn't but I can't help but worry about it. Has anyone else had similar experiences and was the outcome good?
Hi Lils, thanks for coming back to me. It is good to know that you had a similar experience and it turned out to be benign. I am sorry to hear that you have lesions now and I hope that your treatment all goes well. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my worries. Charlotte x
Charlotte my Scans in Jan picked up 2 Liver Lesions Im off for Surgery for Liver resection on April 5th
Hi Irish, I have just been told I have 2 small lesions in my liver after this 3mthly CT scan results . They have now taken me off Palbocyclib and Letrozole which has worked for me for 2 yrs. My new regime is Exemestane and Everolimus . In addition they are seeking advise from a liver specialist although they advised me that it would be unlikely to change anything. I am HER 2 negative and ER positive, CK 20 and CK 7 positive.
I am interested to know your oncologist thoughts around surgery please ?
Good luck with the surgery. My wife has 2 tumours from SBC but oncologist said they can't do liver ablation/resection due to it being metastases from another site. Anyone here got liver tumours from SBC and had a surgical procedure to remove them? Thanks and best wishes to all. X
Mine is from SBC breast spread to spine last Yr and now liver
