Underwired bras and breast cancer

H Bettes welcome to the forum. I think you have figured this one out yourself and it is false news indeed. If that was a cause then why would underwire bras be so popular, especially for larger ladies.

I know that after surgery and treatment, wearing underwire bras is discouraged because if people are like me they have damage to some ribs from the Radiotherapy and therefore underwire bras are no longer comfortable to wear.

Thanks so much for answering my question. I do find it of great concern that companies make this kind of claim based on myths. They prey on people’s fears. It is all for their own profit.
