    Hi

I used a company called all clear. I paid 380 for annual insurance. I went to majorca.

    Hope this helps.

  • This is really encouraging! There is a separate thread which seems to imply that travel is impossible! Now just need Covid restrictions to go awayJoy

  • Thanks I just spoke to them and they gave me a quote too

  • Just found this chat. I sent off to renew my passport yesterday & did a quick unsuccessful check for holiday insurance. I’m on Palbociclib which the obvious cost of low immunity. Did any of you fiFingers crossed tone2 company to take you on? Have any of you taken “drug holiday” so you can go away?Been on Palbo 125 since beginning of May, been lucky, liveable side effects & reduced activity with no new sites Fingers crossed tone2

  • Hi! I know this is late so I am sorry but there is a company called Insurewith.com, I have found them to be the MOST competitive so far and also the questions don't seem as much of a punch to the gut as other companies I have tried. Looking at going to New York for a few days in June and a few places wouldn't insure me AT ALL but I got a quote for like £60 from there which honestly shocked me!

  • That was one of the two I tried & they refused insurance. Think it’s because the Palbociclib takes away a lot of my immunity

    Thanks for info anyway

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.

I hope you don't mind me butting in, as I'm not a member of this group, but I saw your post about struggling to find travel insurance.

Unfortunately, as you've found, it can be harder to find travel insurance when you've had a cancer diagnosis but I can see you've found and joined the travel insurance group where you can find recommendations from others who have successfully obtained travel insurance that doesn't cost more than the holiday!

Have a look there at the thread called recommended travel insurance  as that's where the majority of recommendations are. You might also want to look at this thread as it includes a link to a Travel Insurance Directory.
