Did anyone else experience horrific traffic chaos yesterday? We were travelling back from seeing family. The Dartford crossing got closed, we were told because of an accident, then we tried to head to Canterbury, but got told that way was closed too. In the end we'd been on the roads for 8 hours and 15 minutes. The temperature was 34 at one point and I was having to fan the cat as she was panting and breathing very quickly. She did have fresh water accessible. She's home safe and sound now Had monthly hospital appointment today and all is well
Hope everyone else is managing in this hot weather. The cat is actually snuggling up to me now, it's too hot for snuggling
Hi . Just dropped by and noticed nobody has replied to your post as yet - hopefully they're not all still stuck in the same traffic chaos! I remember when I lived in the South sitting on the M25 for and hours and I was only trying to get from junction 8 to junction 7. Doesn't happen here in Lincolnshire - we've no motorways! Mind you over 8 hours on a day like that!
I've a different cancer but good to hear your appointment went well. My cat's still trying to cuddle up a night, he nearly was ejected through the window last night - don't worry I live in a bungalow!
All the best Bxx
