After 16 years of remission, I was diagnosed with SBC in May with mets in liver and bones. I started a course of weekly paclitaxel on a big dose; managed two weeks before bloods dropped too low for treatment. Started again and they have reduced dose. I can cope with hair loss and skin rash, but feel sick all the time; have tried metachlopride and cyclizine anti sickness, but not helping. Have already lost 8kg since March and just cannot eat anything for 4/7 days of cycle. Does anyone have experience of an anti sickness drug that helped them? Oncologist said that this was not a common side effect with paclitaxel!!
