Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I can't help with your question but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Unfortunately using the search facility within this group for 'indwelling pleural catheter' didn't bring up any previous posts. This doesn't necessarily mean that no one in the group has experience with this just that they haven't posted about it.
While you're waiting to see if you get any replies you could post your question in the ask a nurse section of the online community by clicking on the link I've created and one of the specialist cancer nurses will aim to reply within 3 working days. However, if you are at all worried please contact your CNS or NHS111 for advice.
