hi
i have recently found out I have a recurrence and spread and now have brain mets. I'm just back on chemo cape orally ....had MRI Friday - further results week after next ..... I just feel a little bit scared this afternoon although im calm. Bit of vertigo though ! It would be such a help to hear from others doing ok with brain mets .....some reassurance I've got time with my beautiful daughter . Thank you and strength to you all. Emma xxxx
I have no help but to say I am in the same position as you. I had chemo IV surgery and was on Cape. Had a scan two weeks ago and now have a 1cm in cerebellum. I too have a daughter 16 and worry for her. No idea of the prognosis at all. I'll follow your replies.
Hi there. I sent a PM earlier, which I hope, you’ve found. Which type of scan detected your tumour?
Go easy, look after yourself

Hi Emma, How are you? My thoughts are with you and your family. I’m in a similar situation to you, very recent MRI scan showing ‘spots on my brain’ not even sure l understand the statement. Waiting on full CT report before deciding on treatment options. I find the uncertainty and not knowing very difficult, it is also hard to think about the future and family. Hopefully we will both get the reassurance we need from this site, possibly each other x
