Hi just wondered if anyone has been treated with FEC for secondary breast cancer in bones.
Thanks
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I have not had this treatment but I noticed that your post hadn't had any responses yet.
While you're waiting for replies, if you type 'FEC' into the search bar in this group you'll see that there have been a few posts on this subject. You could have a read of these and respond to anyone whose experience you think might be able to help you further.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
I hope your treatment goes smoothly
x
Hi, yes I had FEC last year to reduce the primary tumour and also to control what had already gone to bones. I tolerated it well and was just a bit tired on the day of treatment. I also lost most of my hair but hey, it's growing back and the FEC was a success so I'm not complaining!
