Hi
In October had a lump removed which was given the 80% it wasn't cancer and days before my 34th birthday I got the news it was cancer but no clear margin, for various reasons the op to get them happened in Feb, that didn't get enough so had another re-excision early April to this week find out I still have DCIS and the recommendation will be a mastectomy (I'm not supposed to know this but my bcn told me as couldn't cope with the wait)
I'm already struggling as I have autism, then been told I'm young to get it (invasive and tubular) not genetic found the lump in July.....
It was looking ok but now a mastectomy on something that was only 6mm is all to much!
Hi Supermeg90 I'm one of the champions here in this group and I wanted to answer your post. It's very confusing to keep being told different things through treatment. Macmillan team have a chat line where you can talk to them and ask their advice or get them to help to explain things so it might be worth giving them a call. The number is 0800 808 0000. Best wishes
