Hi All,
I'm new to this forum. Looking for some advice on my breast cancer diagnosis. I’ve been diagnosed with
“grade 2 invasive lobular carcinoma breast cancer. 1/1 axillary lymph nodes-micrometastasis only”
I’ve had a mastectomy and I’m taking Tamoxifen for 5 years. I was lead to believe that the cancer had not spread to the lymph nodes, however when reading up on my diagnosis it says that a small amount has spread.
can anyone share some light on this?
Hi there, you might want to give the lovely folks here at Macmillan a call on 0800 808 0000 as I am sure they might be able to talk this through with. Best wishes
Hi Debra4. I had stage 3 grade 2 lobular breast cancer with micrometasis in one lymph node. I was 47 when diagnosed. I had lumpectomy, chemo and then radiotherapy and then tamoxifen/letrazole. I would definitely query this with oncologist as lobular cancer has a higher risk of reoccurrence. I dont want to sound negative but I would follow this up. Good luck on your journey. Here if you want to chat.
