Hi I was put on anastrozole and after side effects of itching and breathlessness was taken off after a few days, I've now been put on letrozole starting that today wondering is this quite common?
Hello Moly
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying, your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and hopefully answered by other members of the breast cancer group.
As an aside I am a member of the Prostate Group and my treatment is hormone therapy. (don't ask, but to stop our cancer they remove our testosterone ) I had awful itchy skin for about 4 months and tried every moisturiser going so I know just how you felt.
I hope you are sorted now.
Best wishes - Brian.
