Hi, this is my first try as a post.

Bit of a story but my wife’s cancer journey is nearly 3 years, been through all the initial operations and treatment, had an all clear which didn’t last long, cancer moved to lymph system which was beaten but moved to small brain tumours in October. Started on Enhertu and the scan after the first 3 treatments should a dramatic improvement and the first good news in 6 months. Treatment ongoing with a reduced dose as there are 2 remaining small tumours which oncologist says realistic to think they will clear in next 3 sessions.

My wife feels so scared, so alone and really struggling with the uncertain future together with the side effects of nausea, dizziness, hair thinning etc

Our oncologist is suggesting to remain on Enhertu should the tumours even be cleared

Just looking for advice about coping with the uncertainty - can it ease?

Will the hair thinning ease and improve even if on constant treatment?

Are there buddies out there with similar stories that understand and can support my wife through her journey?

So grateful for any responses!

  • Not the same journey but really feel for you both x
