Missing a day's Letrozole

Hi everyone. I can't remember if I took today's Letrozole this morning. There's a chance I might have dropped it on the floor but I can't find it. Anyway, today's tablet is not in the packet. Common sense tells me I must have taken it. However, in case that's not right, does anyone know if missing one day's tablet is a bad thing? Thanks, Dulciana x

Hi in the Letrozole booklet by Breast Cancer Now given to me at my first appointment it says not to worry if you miss a dose the level of drug in your body will remain high enough from the day before. Don't take an extra dose.

Dunno if this is useful but o have taken to writing the day on the packet on each tablet - otherwise I completely forget if I’ve taken it or not

i don’t think you should worry

Thanks Elorac - and also for reminding me that I also have this booklet, which I could have looked up and calmed down about it!

Hi Dulciana,

I don’t think missing 1 day would have any impact, but I did purchase a weekly pill box which really keeps me on track.. I highly recommend even if you are just taking g the one tablet per day.
