Hi I have been on Letrozole 2.5 mg for nearly 12months no problems, I have just had another prescription from doctors and they have gave me another type called Exemestane 25 mg , not sure if they have made a mistake anyone else had this happen? Thanks Sheila
Exemestane like letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor . It works in a slightly different way. I had problems with letrozole and was changed to it. But it was not done randomly. I would look at your GP record if you know how to log on. If you can wait until Monday ring and ask your GP why the change, if not ring 111 and get them to check.i don't think any harm would come to you but better to be safe. X
