Are you sure it’s not a UTI? Maybe get a sample tested at your GP. I felt dehydrated most of the time during chemo and needed to keep drinking to stop wee irritation and UTIs. I also used cystitis relief from the chemist to stop the burning sensation. Do get checked out for a UTi - infections are a sepsis risk with chemo - you will not be bothering your GP or chemo nurses to get it checked.
Thanks so much for your reply. I'm sure it's not a UTI. It is the wee that is burning my vulva. I've been weeing in the shower this evening and showering my private parts as I go, and this has resolved the issue of pain after. I do have cystitis relief sachets. Perhaps I'll try then to see if it neutralises my urine so it's less painful. I talk to my oncologist on Monday and I mentioned this issue a few weeks ago to him in the aftermath of my first chemo. In the meantime I'm keeping a close watch on my temperature but I have no abdominal discomfort at all.
