  • Hi

Well very strange you should post this as I am like you post menopausal and in Letrozole. I am having what feels like a UTI going to GP getting antibiotics sending off sample and coming back normal Getting the urge to pee and pressure?Hope we can get to the bottom of this ? Meds side effects? Heart️Thumbsup

  • Mmmmm so weird. I’ll ask my Gp next week and see what’s what. A friend was complaining if the same thing after having coil removed so I wondered if it was that. BCN said it’s definitely worth asking Gp about…….

  • Hi. I'm taking Exemastane after really awful side effects from both Letrozole and Tamoxifen. I've had recurrent UTI symptoms on all 3. Cultures come back normal and all the antibiotics do is give me thrush! I truly sympathise with you. It does help to know you're not alone in suffering with these side effects. Take care x

  • Hi - so interesting to read this.  It is exactly the same for me.  I am thinking about going to see my consultant because it has become really bad.  I have had several UTI's (or so the doctor thought they were) but each time the result is normal.  I can only put it down to Letrozole - it is driving me mad.  I have also had antibiotics but now I am getting thrush from them.  The worst time for me is at night - I spend half the night on the toilet peeing for England.  I will let you know how I get on with the consultant.

  • Hi c22 welcome back. Im wondering if that is a retention of urine and your bladder is not emptying properly. I find that happens with me but I sit a while longer when I've had a wee and always get more urine that comes away. I think it is to do with our lack of oestrogen on our pelvic floors.
