Seems trivial but anyone get a headache when on radiotherapy. I’m on day 10 of 15. Basically fine. Bit tired but have had a really annoying headache for 2/3 days which I cannot shift. Trying to work out if it’s letrozole or may the radiotherapy??
Either way guess I just have to suck it up but just wondering if anyone else had headache on radiotherapy.
thanks!
Hi, I don't think that's a common side effect of radiotherapy to be honest, but might be worth mentioning to the R/T team at your next session. I also found this booklet on the Macmillan site in which might be useful. Best wishes
I think it’s probably more likely to be the letrozole or stress or the moon tbh!! The radiologist confirmed it’s not a radiotherapy thing!
Hi
I've had first radiotherapy session last Friday with four more to follow. Thought the 5 days I'm having would run together but not so - great that the weekend has spilt the treatment into two parts.
I have had a headache too which is not something I have had much since chemo when I didn't have any (strange)
I have drunk even more water and have taken paracetamol.
I'm going to mention it tomorrow when I start Monday's session. I'm not taking anything like Letrozole yet so my headache can't be that. x
Funny Iisn’t it
i know it’s not a known side effect but I have a bloody stubborn one that will not shift. I do wonder if it’s a weird tension thing from hold the arms up - not that it seems like a remotely big deal at the time
Interested to know what they tell you
x
Hiya
Spoke to radiographers today about the headache I have woken up with since start of radiotherapy and they said it was a side effect of treatment . I am drinking water by the bucket load so it can't be dehydration and I slept last night so it must just be one of those things. Hope your headache has gone or is at least manageable x
Ah ok!! So it is a side effect! Nice to know!!
actually I’ve had the most insanely busy stressful day and my headache seems to have gone….. I mean go figure?!
