I have four tumours in my left breast. One benign. Two hormone sensitive and large. One triple negative. I have not had any treatment yet. I am waiting for a scan to see if there is spread. Apparently they don't want to do a mastectomy yet and I don't know why. The nurse told me privately to think hard about whether to have chemo. Truthfully, is this looking bad
Hi Ibbo
Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are probably waiting to have all the facts before deciding on what type of surgery to perform. Until you have all the facts it's hard to make a decision whether to have chemo or not. As a general rule Breast cancer is treatable so easy to say I know but try not to think the worst.
Wishing you the best of luck with your scan and hopefully the cancer won't have spread.
Best wishes
